The Old Car Social Club Day

A fine and warm day to start off, with late storms predicted, but held off until after we got home.

This was my first time at this event, so I didn't know what to expect.

The starting time was 8am, but by the time I arrived there was already 50 or more cars in place, with Brendon's 61 Hawk on the front row, and Max's 59 Lark sitting there proudly.

Unfortunately our 9 Studes were scattered around the park, and it would have nice to have our club a bit more organised so that we could be together.  Maybe next year??

There was around 160 cars on display, ranging from beautiful a Morris 1100, to GT40 replica, to fantastically engineered hot rods, to VW Kombis, to Trucks, and to our magnificent Studebakers.

Two members picked up a trophy on the day;

Max M, 59 Lark - "Best Engine bay"

Joe DeV, 24 EL Tourer - "Encouragement Award"

Ha.. as if Joe needs any encouragement.

Well done boys.
